THE FACILITATOR NETWORK

The International Collaborative's Facilitator Network is a group of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals who lead the implementation of the Collaborative's 10/40 Model in their own regional or national healthcare settings.  It provides mentorship and advice to other clinicians wishing to improve end of life care by introducing the model in their own area.

The Facilitators' work is central to the ongoing development of the tools and resources that the International Collaborative offers to its members.

The network's collective knowledge and expertise has led to the introduction of the International Collaborative's Quality Improvement Framework and is the principle source of advice to the Executive Committee on the 10/40 Model's ongoing development.

The Facilitator Network holds workshops twice each year where members come together to develop and refine their work on the Collaborative's quality improvement and education programmes.  These workshops take place during the annual Summer School and Symposium events, usually held in May and November respectively.  Work is sustained throughout the year by regular online meetings for discussion and peer support.
